I am originally from Columbus, Ohio and spent 10 years working for Franklin County Children Services as a Caseworker and Sexual Abuse Investigator. I moved to Georgia in 2009 and worked as a Paraprofessional and Supervised Therapist, while working towards my Master’s Degree and to become licensed.

During my time as a Paraprofessional and Supervised Therapist, I worked with teens and adults struggling with substance abuse, relapse prevention, and behavior issues. I have also been dedicated to helping families in crisis, as well as children and adolescents struggling with severe trauma, ADHD, behavior challenges, self-esteem, bullying, identity, depression, anxiety, family conflict, abuse, and abandonment.

I am extremely dedicated to my clients and I have an optimistic approach towards a successful outcome. I understand that therapy can be difficult and respect my clients for trusting me. Since one size does not fit all, I utilize a variety of techniques including Cognitive Behavioral and Dialectic Behavior therapeutic techniques, play-based therapy, mindfulness, stress reduction, and relaxation. We will work together to determine what works best for each individual.
