I am extremely dedicated to my clients and I have an optimistic approach towards a successful outcome.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC012228) in the state of Georgia

I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The Ohio State University and my Master of Science in General Counseling from Grand Canyon University. I am originally from Columbus, Ohio and spent 10 years working for Franklin County Children Services as a Caseworker and Sexual Abuse Investigator. I moved to Georgia in 2009 and worked as a Paraprofessional and Supervised Therapist, while working towards my Master’s Degree and to become licensed. During my time as a Paraprofessional and Supervised Therapist, I worked with teens and adults struggling with substance abuse, relapse prevention, and behavior issues. I have also been dedicated to helping families in crisis, as well as children and adolescents struggling with severe trauma, ADHD, behavior challenges, self-esteem, bullying, identity, depression, anxiety, family conflict, abuse, and abandonment.

I am extremely dedicated to my clients and I have an optimistic approach towards a successful outcome. I understand that therapy can be difficult and respect my clients for trusting me. Since one size does not fit all, I utilize a variety of techniques including Cognitive Behavioral and Dialectic Behavior therapeutic techniques, play therapy techniques, mindfulness, stress reduction, and relaxation. We will work together to determine what works best for each individual.
